KEY CLUB PREFERRED CHARITIES
In Key Club International, money is fundraised for charities and service partners that make a positive impact on the world. Below are the preferred charities that we fundraise for.

PEDIATRIC TRAUMA PROGRAM
The Pediatric Trauma Program is a charity that aims to prevent injuries and deaths caused by pediatric trauma. Pediatric trauma is the leading cause of death for children ages 14 and under. It is the preferred charity of our district, the California-Nevada-Hawaii District, and should be the main charity that your club fundraises for.

YES! INITIATIVE
The YES! Initiative is a program by the Kiwanis Cal-Nev-Ha Children’s Fund. It funds leadership development training for student leaders, scholarships for members in Key Club and Circle K, and grants to Kiwanis clubs to support children in need.

UNICEF
UNICEF is an agency that aims to help children in need in over 190 countries, whether it be saving, protecting, feeding, or empowering children. They have launched several projects, such as the Tap Project and the Wash Project, which aim to expand access to safe and clean water, and the Eliminate Project, which aims to eliminate maternal neonatal tetanus, a disease that severely harms women and newborn children in developing countries.

CHILDREN'S MIRACLE NETWORK
CMN is a nonprofit organization that aims to help hospitalized children and increase awareness of its member hospitals, including the UC Davis Children's Hospital in Sacramento. All CMN contributions directly benefit children's hospitals, helping to purchase up-to-date equipment, train hospital workers, conduct life-saving research, implement outreach programs, and provide healthcare for children in poverty.

MARCH OF DIMES
March of Dimes is a nonprofit organization in the United States that aims to improve the health of women and babies. It was founded in 1938 by US President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, in order to combat polio. It has now achieved over 110 victories on maternal and child health issues.

ERIKA'S LIGHTHOUSE
Erika's Lighthouse is Key Club International's newest preferred charity. It aims to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and educate students about mental health issues. It also aims to provide resources that help improve the mental wellbeing of students.
